The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Fighters Table

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a colorful mix of characters, and a thrilling plot featuring divine entities, evil spirits, and malevolent powers increasing in power within the city.

Note: Revealing details for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

The third episode concluded with a huge suspense moment and revealed the premier party of adventurers who will split off from the main group to undertake their independent quest, distinct from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table features the determined fighter (played by Travis Willingham), the agile character (the talented performer), Tyranny (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

With an extensive roster, it was clear from the outset that having everyone at one table would be impossible.

Hence, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Introduction, weaving together the personal journeys before branching into three distinct groups: Fighters, Planners, and Questers.

The Nature of the Soldiers Table

According to the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who prefer a traditionally charged fight-heavy story mode where diplomatic options are scarce.

Initially, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might look mismatched, but the developments of the third episode make it clear why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

First, the group understands precisely where to go next after a intense opening clash with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose demise kicked off the story’s plot—used the enemy for his own means, breaking into Thjazi’s hideout, striking Thimble, and swiping all the enchanted items to dispose of.

The antagonist then cleared his obligations and fled to a fortified location in the northern region, above the city, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each character has a specific drive to depart the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as the companion and trusted friend, seeks retribution.
  • Kattigan has experience in the northern area and advises that it is a hostile location.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having resisted his house’s orders to kill the target and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • However, their status as important members in the powerful family could help the group access areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, The grateful character swore a life debt to The cleric for his salvation and will now follow him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are wanted by the powers that rule Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • The rogue and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and Wicander betrayed the influential house and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by the family.

This leaves them few options but to head to the northern region in pursuit of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

Based on the latest episode’s post-show segment, we find out that the Soldiers table will not appear the following episode, leaving the rest of the cast members to assemble the Explorers and Strategists parties.

Fans can anticipate learning which adventurers will be in which group in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, released on October 24.
